Monthly prices in USD, billed monthly, checked 2026-10-11. Most tools count pageviews; Cool Analytics counts events (pageviews plus any custom events you send). Where we couldn't verify a price we link to the vendor instead of guessing. How we compare prices
For each tool we use the monthly price from its public pricing page, billed monthly, for the traffic level you pick. Where a vendor doesn't publish a verified price for that level, we show a dash and link to their pricing instead of guessing.
Pageviews vs events
Most privacy-friendly tools bill by pageviews. Some, including Cool Analytics, Umami and Fathom, count custom events (like signups) too. If you only track pageviews, the numbers are the same. If you send many custom events, factor them in.
Price isn't everything
- Retention. Free and entry plans often keep data for months, not years.
- Sites and seats. Check how many websites and team members each plan includes.
- Features. Funnels, realtime views, visitor journeys and revenue tracking vary a lot between tools.

Frequently asked questions
Which privacy-friendly analytics tool is cheapest?+

Are these prices current?+
We checked each vendor's public pricing page on the date shown. Prices change, so confirm on the vendor's site before you buy.
What's the difference between events and pageviews?+
Pageviews count page loads. Events include pageviews plus custom events like signups or clicks. If you don't send custom events, the two are the same.
Why are some prices missing?+
We only show prices we could verify on the vendor's pricing page. For other traffic levels we link to their pricing rather than guess.
